NAMAKGALE- Capricorn FM broadcast in English and 30% vernacular (Tshivenda, Sepedi and  Xitsonga). As a commercial radio station, the broadcasting format carries 70% music and 30% talk shows, in an attempt to feature a variety of urban genres in R&B, soul, afro-pop, afro soul, hip hop, kwaito, house and also cater for jazz and gospel music lovers.  

Rocking 4 rhinos

HOEDSPRUIT- On the 7th and 8th October 2016 Rocking for Rhinos fused conservation and entertainment to save our rhino from extinction. All precedes from tickets goes to rhino conservation and anti-poaching. This two day event fused entertainment and conservation together in one eye opening experience. The event was held on a large recreational park in Swadini A Forever Resort and included overnight camping as an option for festival-goers and numerous other stalls (food and drink included) situated on the grounds.

HOEDSPRUIT- Protrack Rhino Task Team are a set team of Anti Poachers trained by Protrack to prevent Rhino poaching within our community, they try and prevent the poachers before they poach and they have had successful results by placing road blocks in high risk areas across Limpopo, general patrols, visual patrol, observation posts, data gathering on rhino movements, following up on any infiltration's, spoor, any information regarding to rhino poaching, investigating crimes scenes and carrying out autopsies on poaching Incidents. Every cent raised for the Protrack Rhino Task Team goes to the running costs of the task team. 

Rotary gears up for another Grand Tour

HOEDSPRUIT - The Rotary Club of Hoedspruit members are gearing up for another Rotary K2C Cycle Tour which takes intrepid and adventurous cyclists over 90 kms through some of the most famous Big 5 reserves in the Lowveld. The route, traverses Timbavati, Thornybush, Kapama and Blue Canyon Conservancy in the second running of this unique event.
